Common questions

LumaSift never deletes permanently. Items you confirm are moved to Apple's Recently Deleted album, where they stay recoverable for 30 days. To restore: open Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted.

iOS doesn't expose an exact byte size for every asset instantly, so LumaSift shows an honest estimate rather than overstating reclaimed space. More precise sizing is on the roadmap.

On a new device or after reinstalling, open LumaSift, go to the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Your Annual or Lifetime entitlement is tied to your Apple ID through StoreKit.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple. On your device, open Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, select LumaSift, and choose your option. The Lifetime plan is a one-time purchase and never renews.

Yes. Scanning and review run entirely on-device, so they work offline. An internet connection is only needed for App Store purchases and restores.

LumaSift needs photo library access to scan. Check Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → LumaSift and ensure full library access is granted, then reopen the app to rescan.
